Standard Application for SCADA Systems Design

Attendees will learn the best methodology to be able to define size and design their SCADA system according to project requirements. Any project must be previously designed, before executing it there has to be defined:
• Functionality
• Equipment size
• Data quantity
• Screens
• Alarms
• And other aspects

Students will be able to work with practical cases form the energy, water, food, pharmacy, mining, chemical industries and others.

Help students learn how to design robust and functional SCADA systems regardless of the vendor, specifically;
• Know the use of terminology and standards design
• Know the scope of SCADA software applications
• Know different signal processing means from SCADA software (communication and integration)
• Know the topologies and architectures SCADA software design. SCADA Gateway concept development
• Screen design principles, use of essential principles for an effective screen design
• Know the life cycle of an SCADA Project
• Creation and documentation of an SCADA project
• Know the use of animation tools
• Know the use of symbols and scripts
• Know the use of templates and instances
• Know the use of structured logic
• Historical, reports and graphs design
• Variables and conventions name structure
• Being able to establish links with data bases without being an expert in data bases

This workshop is aimed at all professionals in the world of industrial automation who have to implement, dimension, design or sell SCADA systems in their projects, such as:

• System engineers
• Mechanical and Electronic engineers
• Electrical engineers
• Industrial engineers
• Chemical engineers

The workshop will be held in a classroom and we will provide a notebook for each attendee for the duration of training.
The workshop will be made up of lectures and PowerPoint presentations. It will be an open and friendly environment that enables discussions and participation. Students are welcome to discuss current connectivity issues they are faced with and learn from one another.

• A notebook for each participant
• Welcome Material
• Training Manual
• Completion Certificate
• Meals: coffee breaks and lunch available during training
